Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house with a combined gross house earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic profits does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and wish not submit any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the correct Identification Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored within their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out or intend to research at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
